Guy Clamp
It is used in power line infrastructure to securely attach a conductor cable to a pole or tower, utilizing two separate bolts to clamp the cable in place, providing strong mechanical support against tension and wind forces. The stay wire goes across the anchor rod, it grips the end of the stay wire to prevent the stay wire from creeping down. It consists of two clamping plates with grooves to grip the cable, which are secured together by two bolts and nuts. It is made from rolled from high-quality steel, hot dip galvanized for maximum corrosion protection.
- It is completed with bolts ( track / hex ) and matching nuts
- Track bolts are recommended for ease in installing the clamps over hex bolts
- Guy Clamps are made either with rolled sections or machined to precision
- All ferrous parts are hot dip galvanized to ASTM A153 / BS 729
